Kanak Vrindavan Jaipur History
Kanak Vrindavan Located in the middle of the serene Aravali Hills of the Pink City Jaipur. The garden is well located, it is on the way to the Grand Amer Fort, so one can also visit Amer Fort along with the garden. The garden was named by the Kachchwaha Rajput and Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh. The garden depicts the beauty of Raasleela of Lord Krishna. This is the reason why the Garden is named as Vrindavan. Along with many beautiful plants, water fountains, the garden also exhibits temple surrounded by many beautiful mountains and also decoratives carved out of marble. The Vrindavan garden is owned and maintained by the Government of Rajasthan. The Vrindavan garden was established by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh apparently around 275 years ago. Many legends say that the Vrindavan garden was built by the Maharaja for the sake of Ashvamedha Yagna. The Vrindavan garden is partitioned into eight sections housing many beautiful fountains, lush green plants. The Vrindavan garden looks pleasant and the atmosphere is quite soothing. The garden is a good place to hangout with families and friends to hangout .
