Lakshmi Narasimha Temple Hampi History

Hampi Lakshmi Narasimha Temple is one of the popular historical tourist destinations of Hampi.  It is the largest monolithic sculpture. It is beautifully carved. Like the other Hindu temples, it doesn’t have any rituals to be followed. This was built in the 1528 A.D. The original sculpture has a small structure of goddess Lakshmi sitting on the lap. This was destructed during the attack of the Mughal emperors.  At present the statue of goddess Lakshmi is been placed in the Museum. This massive statue is about 6.7 meters height which has the finest architecture.
