Hill Palace Museum Tripunithura History:

Hill Palace Museum Tripunithura located in Ernakulam of Kerala was built in the year 1865. The museum exhibits the Kerala style of architecture. The museum is stretched to an area of 52 acres. There are about 49 buildings constructed in the palace complex. The palace sprinkles the Kochi royal family information. One can spot the spectacular oil-paintings, the murals, beautifully carved sculptures and other belongings of Kochi royal families. The palace exhibits give a great information regarding the Indus valley and Harappa civilization.

Apart from that the gallery of the palace museum exhibits then contemporary art and many more ancient exhibits. The Hill Palace Museum is the first ever heritage museum of Kerala.
