The Kaziranga National Park is the Wildlife holiday destination in India, which is stretched to 430 square kilometres spread with an elephant – grass, swampy lagoons and nearly 2200 one- horned Indian rhinoceros are available in Kaziranga National Park. This area was declared as World Heritage site by UNESCO in 1985. The Reserve Forest of  Kaziranga is about 232 square kilometres.

This park consists of elephants, wild water buffalos, tigers and various kinds of bird species such as ferruginous duck, black-necked stork, white-fronted goose…etc. The spectacular look of river Brahmaputra makes Kaziranga more elegant. This park shows the existence of endangered species and precious marshlands, elephant grass..etc.

Floral Park Description :

This park shows different types of vegetation like alluvial savanna woodlands, alluvial inundated grasslands, tropical semi-evergreen forests and tropical moist mixed deciduous forests. Also, the park shows a range of various aquatic flora as the Kaziranga is composed of rivers, ponds and lakes.

Faunal Description :

The Kaziranga national park is also famous for the variety of the faunal species which no doubt includes the one-horned rhino, tigers, leopards, Sloth Bears, wild water buffalos and other distinct species the Kaziranga shows a maximum level of tiger population hence declared as the Tiger reserve by the Indian government in 2006. The migratory birds from the Central Asia can also be seen in Kaziranga national park.
