Vemulawada Temple History

Sri Raja Rajeshwara Temple also known as Vemulawada Temple situated in the Telangana Zone of South India. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva. The temple was established in the 750 – 930 A.D. Raja Narendra Chola was the creator of this magnificent temple. Many rituals are followed the most popular one is the Koda Mokku, devotees perform this ritual. Devotees perform pradakshina (Hindu Rite) with a bull around the temple worshipping Lord Shiva. The temple looks spectacular during the festive seasons especially on Maha Shivratri. Devotees flock to the temple to the temple.

      abhisheka will be performed daily from 6.15 Am to 11.30 AM which cost you Rs 600, you need to get the tickets at the counter and can perform abhisheka by taking Sankalpa at abhisheka mandapam.
