The Don Bosco Center of Indigenous Cultures is a seven-storey building which is hexagonal in shape the museum also provides the skyline view which allows the visitors to glaze the overview of Shilong. the Museum shows about 16 distinct galleries which are Culture and Religion Gallery, Art Gallery, Ornaments and costume jewelry Gallery, Introductory and prehistory Gallery, Food Gallery, Housing Gallery, Basketry Gallery, Fishing and Hunting Gallery, Agriculture Gallery, The land and peoples gallery, Our Neighbor’s Gallery, Language Museum, Alcoves Gallery, Musical Instruments Gallery and Mission and Culture Gallery each gallery is distinct with a pool of information.\u00a0 The museum gives the anthropological touch of the Tribes of India. Don Bosco Museum is considered as the pride of Shillong, the northeast area and India. \u00a0The entry of the museum is constructed in the shape of the naga house, on entering the museum the visitors are been welcomed by various statues of different tribal people statues.The museum is magnificently maintained and clearly maintained. The Don Bosco Museum is been provided with multi-media support that adds extra feather to the museum.<\/p>\n
