The Dakshineswar Kali Temple is dedicated to goddess Kali, goddess Kali is worshipped as Bhavatarini which means the redeemer of the whole Universe. The temple daily receives nearly 40,000 devotees daily.<\/p>\n<p>The main temple of the main deity is known as Navaratna temple which resides the idol of goddess Bhaatarini standing on the prostrate body of Lord Shiva. Beside the main temple, there are a total of 12 temples which are dedicated to Lord Shiva hosting the Shiva Lingams.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>SHIVA TEMPLES :<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><strong>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/strong>These temples are built in the Bengali style of architecture \u201cAat Chala\u201d, there are about 12 Shiva temples dedicated to Lord Shiva, surrounding the main temple near to the river banks of river Ganges<\/p>\n<h3><strong>VISHNU TEMPLE :<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><strong>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/strong>This temple is also known as the Radha Kanta temple which hosts the idols of Lord Krishna which is about 21 and inches and 16 inches Radha idol. He offered Phalharini Kali Puja to Sri Sarada Maa.
