Gowrivakkam Panchamuga Anjaneyar Temple dedicated to the Hindu Deity Pawana Putra Lord Hanuman. The Deity posses Pancha Mukha that is five faces. This temple is quite peaceful and also beautiful. The temple architecture is unique and mesmerizing. The temple shows Lord Hanuman exhibiting faces facing in various directions, face towards the East is\u00a0 “Sri Anjaneyaswami Mukha” it is believed that the east side facing of Lord Hanuman removes sins and confers purity of mind, the South facing face called “Sri Narasimha swami” which has an importance that it removes enemies and confers victory.<\/p>\n

The West facing face known as “Sri Mahaviragarudaswami” which will help in overcoming evil spells, black magic influences, and other bad effects. The North Facing face known as “Sri Lakshmi Varahamurthyswami” provides ashta Aishwarya and the face facing upwards known as “Sri Hayagreevaswami” which is believed that this facing confers knowledge, wisdom, and Freedom from evil and bad luck.<\/p>\n
