Siruvapuri Balasubramanya Swamy Temple or Murugan is one of the popular temples of Lord Karthikeya. The temple name came from the epic Ramayana when Luv and Kush fought against Lord Rama that is Chinnambedu \u201cSiruvar Ambu Edu\u201d which means Children used their arrows to fight the battle. The temple showcases the peacock the rath (Vehicle of Lord Murugan) which is made out of the precious green stone known as the \u201cMargatham\u201d. The temple has many belief devotees visit this temple to get married, for children and for their wishes. Tuesdays are the special day in this temple. It is fully crowded during Tuesdays and other festival days.<\/p>\n
