One can enjoy the complete view of Tiruchirapalli. The temple is right on the top of the Rock Fort approximately 275 steps have to be climbed to embrace the beauty of the temple. The temple has the Gaja Raj (Elephant), devotees offer Prasad to Gaja Raj and in return, they receive blessings from the Elephant. The temple is one the popular construction of Tamil Nadu.
