Thanumalayan Temple History<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Thanumalaya Temple one of the popular Hindu temple which is also known as Sthanumalayan Temple. This temple was built in the 17th Century. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva, Lord Vishnu and Lord Brahma in a single form that is Sthanumalyam. The temple is decorated with four musical pillars and with various carvings. The temple celebrates the Chariot festival, devotees flock from various parts of the country to get divine darshan of Lord Sthanumalyam.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/strong>The temple has a custom of wearing traditional dresses for both men and women. Men are allowed to dhoti the traditional outfit. Also, the temple authorities provide dhoti for hire for the sake of devotees.<\/p>\n
