Mutharamman Temple History<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Mutharamman Temple situated in Kulasekharapatanam which is enshrined with the deity Nganamoorthiswarar Muththaramman. The temple exhibits the combined statues of goddess Muththaramman and the statue of Lord Gnanamoorthiswarar. Devotees worship and darshan the deity as Swayambu Murthigal. The temple has three mandapams known as Artha Mandapam, Maha Mandapam and the Kodi Mandapam. Daily rituals are followed and various offerings are offered to the deity. Dusshera is the popular festival celebrated in this temple, unlike the other temples, this temple celebrated Dusshera for 12 days where the others celebrate this eve for nine days (Navaratri). This one of the special temple where the idol of the deity is in the combined form which makes this temple more unique and special.<\/p>\n
