Kaithamalai Murugan Temple dedicated to Lord Murugan is established in Uthukuli of Tirupur The temple is situated at the top of the Kaithamalai Hill. The temple has a major attraction that is the Car or Chariot of the Lord is placed over the hill and during the Car Festival, the Car or Chariot is pulled over the hill along the Slopes.\u00a0 This is the quite fascinating feature of this temple which is not seen any other temples. This village is popularly known for butter and this massive temple. Locally the deity is known as \u201cVetri Velayudha Swamy\u201d. The temple looks spectacular during Thaipoosam and on Chariot or Car festivals. It is a famous belief that whoever offers Milk Abhishekam to Lord Murugan their wishes will come true. The temple follows many rituals also the temple provides Annadhanam to the devotees.<\/p>\n
