Shillong Peak History:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Shillong Peak is one of the highest peak resided in Shillong, this viewpoint gives a spectacular view from this point. The entry for this beautiful point can be achieved with a minimal entry fee and by carrying some identification proofs. It is strictly prohibited for photography at the military zone that is at the entrance and one can click great pictures at the viewpoint. Also one can get the perfect photograph wearing the local outwear of Shillong. From the viewpoint, one could get the perfect view from the telescopes mounted on the tower point. It\u2019s a quite long climb up from the entrance to the viewpoint. But all to get the view of this breathtaking view one will not mind crossing this distance. Again the view depends on the day, if it is pretty misty it is difficult to get a view from the point. It is advisable to visit this place on a sunny day to get the spectacular view of the Shillong.<\/p>\n
