Lady Hydari Park History:<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Lady Hydari Park situated in Shillong is also known as Phan Nonglait Park and Animal Land. This park is dedicated to the first women of Assam, the Lady Hydari She was the wife of Assam’s first British Governor Sir Nicholas Dodd Beatson Bel. The park has a lush green coloured with different flower beds. Mini Zoo housing about 73 species of birds, 15 varieties of mammal species and about 100 varieties of reptiles. The Park also has a butterfly park and children’s park. This is the perfect place for children\u2019s, families and for couples to have a great pleasure of walking. The park has some water pools where the beauty of swans can be observed. This place is also perfect for photography and to go for a picnic with friends and families.<\/p>\n
