Madhuri Lake History:<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Madhuri Lake was originated due to the earthquake in the year 1952. The lake was popularized by a Bollywood movie which was shot here Hindi movie “Koyala”. The lake is originally known as the Shungaster Lake which is been named as Madhuri Lake after the popular heroin (Actress Madhuri Dixit). Who was shot in a Hindi movie named Koyala. The lake facilitates boating with a great picturesque background. Near the lake an army cafeteria known as Shungatser Cafe, this serves some hot food kinds of stuff to the visitors at a nominal price. The lake is surrounded by mountains and lush green plants, wooden trunks which gives splendid views. The Lake also provided with a spectacular waterfall falling on to the lake. One can also spot Yaks here. This place gets covered in snow in winters. The lake has a host of activities like trekking, Boating, fishing, picnics and could even camp outdoors. The lake is about 2o km from the town Tawang. The lake is frozen in winters but the view is breathtaking. At this spectacular lake, one can spot the golden ducks. The height of the lake is 16,500 ft. The lake has resided at the Indo-China border.<\/p>\n
