Tapkeshwar Temple situated near the dense forest of Dehradun. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva called Tapakeshwar Mahadev. The temple resided in deep caves of the forest. Under theses caves the Lord Shiva is installed in the form of Shivling. This shivling is been naturally offered jqalaabhishek with the mother nature. Devotees flock to Tapakeshwar mahadev Temple to see this miracle and to offer their respect to the Lord. The temple is highly crowded during the annual festival Mahashivratri. During this eve many rituals are been offered to the deity. Devotees collect the natural water as prashad and consume it as a holy gift, Pushp (flowers), (Water) jal and many things are offered to the lord as offerings.<\/p>\n
