Chand Baori<\/strong> is a step well located in a village named Abhaneri situated in Rajasthan.\u00a0 The step well was constructed by the King Chanda of Nikumbh Dynasty during 500 and 600 Century. The Chand Baori is dedicated to goddess of happiness and Joy known as Hashat Mata. The story behind the Construction of this step well is to conserve maximum amount of water as Rajasthan is pretty a ride area. At the bottom of the well the temperature is less that 5 degrees than the temperature outside,\u00a0 this well was an iconic place for the local gatherings during the ancient days.\u00a0 The well also composed of a room built for the Royal Family to rest. The well has about 3500 steps leading to a depth of 30 meters.\u00a0 The Chand Baori is 13 stories massive construction.<\/p>\n
