Swaroop Sagar Lake also known as Kumharia Talab, this is the artificial lake established by Maharana Swarup Singh and hence named after him. The lake was established during 1842 to 1861. The lake is an artificial water body constructed to prevent the water congestion problem in Udaipur. The lake has got great view , the lake is connected to the Fateh Sagar Lake and the Lake Pichola hence the lake also maintains the water levels in the two connecting rivers. The lake is behind the famous Jagadish Temple of Udaipur. This lake is always busy with public as it is well located visitors and locals visit this lake to admire the beauty.<\/p>\n
