During the emergence of the Linga, both Lord Brahma and Lord Vishnu went on a search in finding Head and Tail Parts of the Linga.<\/p>\n<p>Years passed but they were not able to find the source, Lord Brahma thought of playing a trick against Lord Vishnu. He went to Kailash and claimed that he found the head part showing Mogili flower and Cow as the witness. Angered Lord Siva cursed Lord Brahma that he wouldn\u2019t be worshipped by anyone in the universe. The Brahma got angered and cursed Lord Siva to stay on the Earth as a mountain.<\/p>\n<p>This mountain is called as Brahma Giri and also called as Trayambak which means three-eyed hill.<\/p>\n<p>Rahu Ketu Pooja will be performed 2 hours. Pooja costs about Rs.3500.<\/p>\n<p>New clothes are needed for this pooja and it has to be disposed of after completion.<\/p>\n<p>Male need to wear Dhoti with vest and for Female need to wear saree with blouse or Punjabi dress\/ Chudidar with duppata. In this temple Lord Shiva as Visweswarar or Kasi Lingam or Hanuman Lingam and Goddess Parvathi as Parvathavardhini or Malaivalar.<\/p>\n<p>Rameswaram temple is located on an Island In South-East corner of the Ramnad district.<\/p>\n<p>After killing Ravana, Lord Rama along with His consort Sita Devi and His brother Lakshman reached Rameswaram.&nbsp;Lord Rama Instructed Hanuman to bring Siva Lingam from Mount Kailash. It took time for Hanuman to reach Rameswaram. Lord Rama installed Saikat Linga (Made out of Sands) and performed Poojas. Hence the name Ramalinga.<\/p>\n<p>The Great thing about this temple is that the sacred water of Ganga is used for Abhishekam. This is one of the Jyotirlinga Temples located in Madya Pradesh near to Rudra Sagar Lake.<\/p>\n<p>Rahu Ketu Kaal Sarp Dosh Nivarana Pooja will be performed thrice in a day by private Pandits.<\/p>\n<p>Pooja runs for 2 hours which cost Rs.3500 for a single person. This temple is dedicated to Lord Siva.<\/p>\n<p>As per the Folklore, once Sage Bharadwaja visited this place as part of his sacred journey. He had invited other sages to take part in the yajna. The yajna was performed in grand and at the end of the pooja, sages observed that a crow was eating \u201cHavissu\u201d which was meant for Yajna Kartha. Sage Bharadwaja tried to stop the crow from eating. The crow then replied that he was called by Kakasura, who received the boon from Lord Brahma to eat Havissu. Kakasura mentioned that he was cursed by a sage so only got the Crow form. He added that performing Abhishekam to him will retain his original form and one who does the Abhishekam will be benefited. As advised, Sage performed the Abhishekam to Lord Siva with Sacred waters collected from 7 rivers and also performed the Abhishekam for the crow. Kakasura got his original form and then he performed Abhishekam with Jasmine flowers. Hence the deity called by Mallikarjuna swamy.<\/p>\n<p>In this temple Rahu Ketu pooja will be performed daily on Rahu kalam timings and after pooja devotees are allowed for darshan.<\/p>\n<p>Usually, takes 1 Hour to 1 Hour 30 minutes.&nbsp;It costs about Rs.350 for single or couple.<\/p>\n<p>Any decent outfit will be fine.There is no advance booking option to this temple.
