Spread Eagle Falls is the huge falls in Shillong. It\nis also known as Sati Falls. It is a precipitous fall. The waterfall streams\nover the hill and increases the force and flows downstream with a huge force.\nThe fall is known as Spread Eagle because the fall looks like an eagle which\nspread its wing wide. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
As there is no proper road connectivity to the falls a few years back, the area is not popular and famous destination spot. Later, the department of tourism took initiation to popularize the place and constructed better and safer roads. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
