Rose Garden is the botanical garden in Chandigarh, also known as the Zakir Hussain Rose Garden which is named after India\u2019s 3rd<\/sup> President. The Garden showcases about 830 varieties of flowers and 33000 varieties of medicinal trees and plants. The whole area is spread across 30 acres of land housing elegant varieties of flowers and trees that attract a large number of tourists and nature lovers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Garden is regarded as the largest in Asia and was built under the directions of MS Randhawa, the 1st<\/sup> Chief Commissioner. This is the perfect escape spot from this busy world as the place is organized by expert gardeners. The place enhances its beauty only with the presence of foggy mountains at the backend of the garden and the spectacular fountain that can be viewed with colorful lights in the evenings. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The garden is decorated with long green grass and several benches are placed under the trees to relax one selves. A small lake with a colorful fountain is present in the garden for the tourists and nature lovers to enjoy the birds and their chirps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rose Festival Chandigarh<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

The Rose Festival is celebrated every year at the end of February till the beginning of March. It will be celebrated as the fest that exhibits the finest of roses, competitions, cultural events, and other stalls. Over 20000 visitors attend this festival.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The garden will be open from morning 6:00 AM to night 10:00\nPM.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Time to be spent<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

One can spend a maximum of 1-2 Hours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rose Garden Chandigarh Entry Fee<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

The entry fee is Rs 50 per person for both children and\nelders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How to Reach<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Chandigarh Bus station to the Garden \u2013 Approximately 3KM and one can reach the place within 10 minutes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Chandigarh Railway station to Rose Garden \u2013 It takes nearly\n30 minutes to reach the place as one has to travel for 8 KM.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Chandigarh International Airport to the Rose Garden \u2013\nApproximately 18 KM and one can reach by taxi in 1 Hour. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
