The town was announced by Raja Karan Prakash as the capital in 1621. At this time 52 cult images of the local gods are placed in the temple of Jagannath. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Gugga Peer Fair is celebrated locally in respect of Gugga. The god is worshipped by both Hindus and Muslims. The god dedicated to this festival is Snake. Gugga is worshipped by Rajasthani\u2019s. Gugga is also known as Gogaji.
