As per the Legend, Devikarumari in the form of an old lady approached sun god to know here future. Sun God rejected her request unknowingly. The goddess disappeared from the place. Sun god soon realised that his brightness is reducing. Sun pleaded Devikarumari for the mistake. Impressed for Goddess accepted the apology and restored his brightness and glory. Sun also requested that his rays touch the Goddess twice in a year that is during Panguni and Purattasi months.<\/p>\n
