About Jatayu Earth Center <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Jatayu Nature Park is a massive park situation at Jatayupara\nnear Chadayamangalam, Kollam District in Kerala. Kerala State Tourism\nDepartment initiated the biggest project – The Jatayu National Park which is\nnamed after the popular character in Ramayana. According to the epic Ramayana,\nChadayamangalam is the exact point where Demon Ravan cut his wings while Kidnapping\nSita. The town is also known as Jatayumangalam. This nature park is established\nin 65 acres of land. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

About the Jatayu Sculpture <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The sculpture situated at the Jatayu Earth Center is 200 feet long, 150 feet width, 70 feet high in 15,000 square feet. This sculpture is the world\u2019s largest bird sculpture. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The important of Jatayu Nature Park is the design of the\nJatayu, the bird. The sculpture is designed by prominent artist, director and\nsculptor Rajiv Anchal. It took 7 years to complete the sculpture. The bird sculpture\nis operated with 6D audio-visual effects. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ways to Reach the Jadayu Para<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    Cable Cars<\/em><\/strong> \u2013 These cable cars are imported from Switzerland to\nreach the Hilltop where the sculpture is situated. 15 cable cars are operated\nto the Hilltop for the view. Each car can carry 8 tourists at a time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Adventure<\/em><\/strong> \u2013 Jatayu AdventureCenter is situated at the foothill of the actual Sculpture is situated. This center offers 15 adventures to participate. These are <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    • Vertical Ladder<\/li>

      By Helicopter<\/em><\/strong> \u2013 The management offers the helicopter view and\nthe tourists can get the complete view of the bird in top angle. The management\nwill charge the amount for this service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
