This area was declares as the Wildlife Sanctuary in Nov 1998. This Sanctuary stretches over an area of 332.87 ha.

Commonly seen birds are Dalmatian pelicans, spot-billed ducks, lesser flamingos, common cranes, sand grouses, partridges, Indian darter etc
Houbara bustard is rarely seen in this sanctuary.

This sanctuary is inhabited with wolf, jackal, mongoose, jungle cat, blue bull etc. It is estimated that 12 species of mammals, 88 species are birds are present in this sanctuary.

Best Time for Bird Watching: Oct-Jan 2nd week.

This sanctuary is divided into two parts with a sweet water lake and a river Khari passes through sanctuary.

Visiting Hours: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm.
