Mudumalai National Park History

Mudumalai National Park situated in the Nilgiri Mountains also known as the Blue Mountains. This beautiful National Park houses many wild animal species. This National Park is also known as Tiger Reserve as this sanctuary houses about 50 tigers resided in it. Apart from that, the park houses a total of 500 animal species. The Moyar River runs through this sanctuary. Many animals could be spotted around this area of the Sanctuary, as animals visit the river to quench their thirst. During Safari or their visit to the sanctuary, visitors could easily spot animals at this zone. This is one of the outstanding National parks like the popular national parks like Nagarhole, Bandipur and like Wayanad National Parks.
