Nehru Zoological Park,  in Hyderabad, was established on 26^th October 1959. It was opened to the public on 6^th October 1963.The Nehru Zoological Park is under the control of forest department. This park is named after the first prime minister of the country, Jawaharlal Nehru. It is the Largest Zoo park in India, located near Mir Alam park in Hyderabad.
