Bassi Wildlife Sanctuary situated in Chittorgarh, Rajasthan. It is an important forest reserve of Chittorgarh. The Wildlife Sanctuary is merely 5 kilometres away from the Bassi Fort Palace. Extended over 150 km²at the Vindhyachal Mountain ranges on the west border. The forest reserve harbours wide range of flora and fauna. Popularly the flora like Dhok, Churel, Buteasome medicinal herbs and the flowering plants. And the wildlife reserve harbours wide range of animal species like Jackals, Hyenas, Cheetah and other wild cats, Porcupine, Langur, Wild Boar, Four Horned Antelopes, etc. As the reserve has many water bodies it is one of the best site for Birdwatchers where one can spot and enjoy watching several birds like the Blue Bull, Lesser Whistling Duck, Peacocks, Pigeons, Peafowls, Hawks, Eagles, Storks, Saras Cranes, Cuckoo, Etc.
