Elephant Stable Hampi History

Elephant stable is one of the magnificent structure of Hampi. This is one of the largest structure of Hampi. This monument was created to provide shelter for the royal elephants. This stable has the capacity to house ten elephants at a time. This is one of the major tourist attractions of Hampi. This historic structure was built in the 15th century during the rule of the Vijayanagara Empire. This monument exhibits the beautiful Indo-Islamic style of architecture.
