The Chamayavilakku is one of the popular festivals celebrated in the temple. This is the festival when the boys dress up life the women and mesmerizes the temple. On this festival a special ritual is been followed that is devotees lit up their lamps and carry to the temple and proceed to the procession. During this eve ocean of devotees flock to the temple get together to enjoy the Chamayavilakku eve.
