Mahamaya Temple Chhattisgarh History:

Mahamaya Devi Temple situated in Ratanpur of Chhattisgarh. The temple is dedicated to goddess Lakshmi and goddess Saraswati. The temple is one of the Shakti peeths.  The goddess Mahamaya is also known as goddess Kosaleswari.  The temple belongs to 12th and 13th century which was established by Ratnadeva who was the Kalachuri King. The temple has god a temple tank where devotees get a holy dip before performing their rituals. The temple has got the beautiful Nagara Style of architecture.
