The Ujjayanta Palace which is located in Agartala of Tripura exhibits the Tripura State Museum also known as Tripura Government Museum. This museum is the largest museum in northeast India. This museum was established as the multicultural museum in the year 1970, June 22nd. The Museum was formally inaugurated in the year 2013 which was presided by the Vice President of India Hamid Ansari.
The Museum houses a wide range of exhibits and the historical treasure which involves ancient coins, sculptures..etc
