Gujarat is famous for historical and ancient places, Prag Mahal is one of the historical monument in Bhuj (Gujrat- India). The Prag Mahal is a 19th-century place. The mahal provides service of guides to explain the visitors for free of cost. It is a conversion of the monument to a museum.Prag Mahal was since the Britishers lived in India. It is the best tourist spot in Bhuj, even film shootings take place in this mahal. Even the shooting Lagaan a Hindi movie was done in Prag Mahal. It was built in Italian Gothic style by Colonel Henry Saint Wilkins along with other Italian artists. It is said that the artisans paid in gold coins. A total of 3.1 million rupees took for the construction of the palace. The construction was completed in 1879.
