Badavilinga Temple located in Hampi is dedicated to Lord Shiva. In this temple, the deity is worshiped in the form of Lingam. This is one of the beautiful temples of Hampi. The Shiva Lingam is located in the midst of the temple surrounded by water. The Lingam is half drowned in water and Half above the water level. There a myth that one’s wish would be fulfilled if the coin is been landed over the Lingam. The Lingam is trinity possessing 3 eyes which can be observed. , this temple is situated near to the temple of Lord Narasimha Temple.
