About Kanha Kisli National Park Safari

Kanha National Park is the paradise for wildlife’s. This is the place rich with large variety of Flora and Fauna. The Jungle is best for its Barasingha and swamp deer and is also known as “The Jewel of Kanha”. The place is located in Maikal Ranges of Madhya Pradesh and is the heart of India. The Park is declared as one of the finest wildlife sanctuaries across the world. The place is across the 2 districts of Mandala and Kalaghat. The national park in the year 1879 is declared as the Reserve Forest and in 1933 as Wildlife Sanctuary.

The Park is spread across 940 squares Km and further increased to 1945 square Kms. This Sanctuary is the home for a number of plants, birds, reptiles, and insects. Sunset Point is the most famous spot at the park at Bammi Dadar.

Tourists can participate in Safaris like Elephant Safari, Jeep Safari and should book the package in advance. The visitors can enjoy the safari with good number of Royal Bengal Tigers. There are 4 Core Zones from where Safari starts and also 4 buffer zones.

Best Time to Visit the Kanha Wildlife Sanctuary

The National Park will be open from October 16^th to June 30^th every year. Visitors have to book within this time as the rest of the months in the year the park will be closed.

From October to January the season will be mentioned as the Winter Safari and from February to June will be regarded as the Summer Safari.

Timings for the Safari In Kanha National Park

The Kanha Kisli National Park will be open from morning 5:00 AM to 10:00 PM and the entry fee is Rs 1530 per head.

The safari will be done twice a day in both the seasons. The timings will slightly change from season to season.

Winter –

Mornings from Sunrise to 11:00 AM

Evenings from 3:00 PM to Sunset.

Summer –

Mornings from Sunrise to 10:30 AM

Evening from 3:30 PM to Sunset.

Vehicles Permit inside the National Park in a Day

The vehicles for safari have a limit to enter into the Kanha Kisli National Park. This entry will be in 2 shifts daily and the limit will be the same for both morning and evening shifts.
