Muktidam Temple Nashik History

Muktidam is the temple where one can see the replicas of the actual temple of 12 Jyotirlingas. This temple is a marble temple complex honouring various Hindu gods. It is a popular tourist attraction situated in the Nashik Road of Nashik. Mukthidam has Lord Krishna as the main God of the temple. The temple also has idols of all Major Hindu Gods and Goddess like Lord Vishnu, Lakshmi Rama, Lakshman, Sita, Hanuman, Durga and Ganesh. Temple also has some idols of Saints. 

The temple is built by the donation made by Mr J. D. Chauhan-Bytco(Late) a local industrialist. It is privately operated through the trust of JD Chauhan-Bytco.
