Siddheshwar Temple situated in Solapur is dedicated to Lord Siddarama. The temple performs many sevas like Abhishekams, Rudrabhishekams. The Gadda Yatra is the popular event celebrated in this temple. The Yatra is a 15 days grand event celebrated from the Shakambari Purnima to the last following day of Amavasya which is the last day of the Yatra.

Solapur Siddheshwar Gadda Yatra:

The Siddheshwar Yatra is a 15 days grand event celebrated in the temple, this yatra is celebrated since 900 years. Legends say that a girl named Kumbharkanyya wished to marry Siddarama; Siddarama denied her wish and suggested her to marry Yogadanda. It is believed that the Yogadanda is been presented by the Lord Srisaila Mallanna. On this yatra the bamboo sticks are decorated like bride and grooms as these sticks are considered as bride and groom. These bamboo sticks are locally called as Nandi Dwajas. A huge crowd gathers on this yatra to celebrate this grand eve.
