Kanipakam is the place of Hindu temple dedicated to Vinayaka or Sri Varasidhi Vinayaka Swamy. Numbers of pilgrims come here for having Vinayaka Darshan who visits to Tirupati. The temple is actually formed by the 3 brothers who are deaf, dumb and blind. While they were digging a well to fetch the water to their field. The digging device fell in to the well and hit the hard object and when they dug further the blood starts to burst out from the well and the 3 brothers got rid of their disorders. The villagers rush to the place after listening to the news and dug further and found a Lord Ganesh sitting in the well.
Pilgrims can also visit the nearby place like Sri Kalahasti 104 KM, Tiruchanoor 70 KM, Appalayagunta 80 KM , Tirupati 67 KM, Srinivasa Kalyanam 67 KM etc., on the visit to Kanipakam.
