The Keibul Lamjao National Park of Bishnupur (Manipur) houses the endangered brow-antlered deer also known as Sangai. Initially, The Keibul Lamjao National Park was declared as Sanctuary in the year 1966 to preserve the Sangai (the endangered species of Deer).
