This Park located in Dimapur district of the Nagaland which is 6 kilometres away from the township. This park is stretched to an area which is about 176 ha surrounded by a rolling plateau and low lying areas which are apt for aquatic avian species. In the year 2008, this Park was inaugurated. The main motive of this Park is to protect and develop the floral and faunal population of the respective region.

Also, the Nagaland Zoological Park wishes to be a conservation centre for the fauna of the Nagaland region. The respective authorities of Nagaland Zoological Park is educating and bringing awareness about the importance of the flora and fauna of the reserve among the Nagaland population. To make the availability of the Nagaland Zoological Park, the park authorities are maintaining a minimal and feasible entry fee to enter into the park and to have the pleasure of the Nagaland Zoological Park.

The Nagaland along with the Zoological Park is also featuring the availability for the public with various stuff like Nagaland Science Centre for acquiring the scientific knowledge, Triple Falls for fun, Naga Shopping Arcade to get the Nagaland cultural accessories and others ,the Shiva temple for worship and other more interesting stuffs which attracts the visitors to visit Nagaland again and again with plenty of pleasures.
