Galteshwar Mahadev Temple History:

Galteshwar Mahadev Temple is one of the popular temple situated in Gujarat. This temple is popular as one can darshan all the twelve Jyothir Lings (Lord Shiva In the form of Jyothir Ling). The temple has a unique architecture, its resemblance to the eight-sided temple model of red stone carvings. This was constructed in Solanki era (10th to 13th century).  The temple at banks of the river Tapi. The temple has well organised the bathing facilities in the river water of Tapi river. One can swim and dip in this clean and clear shallow water of Tapi river. At the bank of the Tapi river. The temple has a giant idol of Lord Shiva.
