Govind Dev Ji Temple History:

Govind Dev Ji Temple situated in Jaipur is dedicated to Lord Krishna ( Thakur Ji).  The temple is one of the popular temples of Vaishnavas. The temple is one of 7 temples of Lord Govind Dev Ji of Vrindavan. The idol of Lord Govind ( Thakur Ji) can be seen from the city palace of Jaipur the pink city. The idol of Lord Krishna was brought from Vrindavan by the founder of Jaipur ( Raja Sarah Jai Singh ||).  The specialty of the temple is the murti of the Lord itself, many legends says that the idol.  The legends describe that the idol is just remains same as Lord Sri Krishna according to the incarnations since Lord Krishna first to the earth. The image of Lord Krishna is also called Bajarakrit,  as the image was created by the grandson Bajranabh. Lord Bajranabh created three images of Lord Krishna according to the directions,  the first image represented the feet of the Lord just as same,  the second image tried to resemble the chest as same as Lord Krishna and Finally the third image tried to resemble the face of the Lord exactly. Therefore the first is known as Madan Mohan Ji, the second Gopinath Ji and the third as Govind Dev Ji.
