Shamlaji Temple located in Gujarat has no Medo. This temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu an incarnation of Lord Krishna. The deity darshans in the dark Sham colour hence the deity is called Shamlaji. This temple was established in the 11th century. The temple represents the Chalukya style of architecture. This beautiful temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu has resided on the banks of Meshvo River. This temple is also known as Dholi Dhajawala, as white silk flag been hoisted on the top of the temple. The temple is constructed out of white sandstone and the brick.
