Sri Dharbaranyeswara Swamy Temple History:

Sri Dharbaranyeswara Swamy Temple situated in Thirunallar of Pondicherry is one of the popular temples. The temple has a sacred tree Dharbai and about three holy tanks. This is one of the ancient temples which has been constructed during 600 A.D. The temple has many temple cars dedicated to the deities of the temple. The temple has the chariots for Lord Vinaya which is about 13 feet, Chariot of Lord Subramaniyar is about 14 feet, the chariot of the deity Ambal is 14 feet and the chariot of Sandeegeswarar is about 10 feet and the Swamy Car is about 16 feet. One can easily reach this temple by Air, By Rail and By Road.
