This National Research Centre is dedicated to the overall development of Yak Husbandry and upliftment. This center is the collection of over 150 yaks of different varieties. This research center is located in the West Kameng District of Arunachal Pradesh.

2. Dirang Dzong:

Dirang Dzong which means Dirang Fort was built in the 17th century to protect Bomdila from neighboring states. At the time of the Vietnam war, this fort is used as a jail and in the world war period, this fort is used as a shelter. The fort comprises of 4-storied fortified stone slabs that are supported by wooden logs.
