About the detailed description of TTD Senior Citizen Darshan at Tirumala for the devotees
The age group of 65 years and above citizens come into the category of Senior Citizens. To have the peaceful and less rush darshan Tirumala provides the special queue line for the Senior Citizen Darshan at Tirumala. The queue also includes Physically Disabled Devotees also. Devotees in this queue can complete the darshan within 30 minutes to 1 hour.
Senior Citizen Darshan Availing Process
Devotees with the age of 65 years and above are allowed to have darshan along with the spouse. The pilgrims who want to avail this process of darshan should carry the age proof and the id proof.
For the Physically Disabled persons, the entrance is the same queue line of Senior Citizen darshan and the timing is the same for both. The devotees must carry the medical certificate proof and id proof.
The management will only permit the privileged person into the line. Nobody like relatives and friends are allowed with the spouse and the grandchildren less than 12 years are allowed with them.
Per day only 1400 members are allowed to have this darshan that too, in 2 shifts of 700 members and 700 members. The devotees can get this benefit once for 3 months.
On Fridays, these category devotees are allowed only at 3:00 PM and only 700 devotees can get this benefit.
Electric buggies are available for the devotees from the pick-up point at the parking area and drop at the destination from the exit point of the temple.
At the time of this darshan, all the other darshans will be stopped and devotees can have a peaceful darshan with of pushing and pulling.
The devotees in the queue line need not suffer from standing as the Tirumala Tirupati Devastanam has arranged the seating with the Sambar rice and curd rice.
Devotees must report at the Supadam counter near the Tirumala Nambi Temple in Dakshin Mada Street along with the id proof.
Darshan Ticket Cost
The cost of the senior citizen darshan is free of cost.
Timings for Senior Citizen Darshan
This darshan is available for the devotees in 2 shifts i.e., morning 10:00 AM and evening 3:00 PM.
For 10:00 AM darshan devotees must enter into the queue line at 8:00 AM in the morning and for 3:00 PM darshan devotees must enter into the queue line at 2:00 PM.
Dress Code for Darshan
For Men – dhoti/Pyjama, Kurta, Pancha with shirt
For Women – Saree/ Half Saree, Chudidhar with Dupatta.
