Devotees can take Helicopter services which start from Katra on the foothills and the flight will drop at Sanjhi Chhatt. From Sanji Chhatt, Devotees have to travel 2.5 KM to reach Vaishno Devi Temple, they can battery car or they can walk also. Devotees can book this service online as well as offline also. This service is provided by Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board (SMVDSB).

- Yatra Registration slip is mandatory for availing Helicopter ticket at “Current Heli-ticket Counter”.
- ID Proof of all the members who want this service.
- Proof of travel documents is required such as Air/Train/Bus/Taxi.
- The rate of Ticket for one side is Rs. 1730 /- per person.
- The tax rates as applicable shall charge on the date of Travel at the respective location in Katra/Sanjhi Chhatt.
- Pilgrim can carry a child below 2 years on his/her lap with age proof of that child.
Vaishno Devi Helicopter Booking Online Booking
- Devotees can register on Maa Vaishno Devi’s Official Website.
- Devotee can book Helicopter services as per requires on the same Official Website.
- If a devotee wants to cancel Helicopter services and wants refunds, they have to claim within 30 days and up to 4 days before from scheduled date. They have to request it on the official website or via email to them.
- Devotees will get 70% refunds and 30% against processing charges.
- Passengers are requested to report one hour before the notified timing.
- Pilgrim can carry a child below 2 years on his/her lap with age proof of that child.
- The rate of Ticket for one side is Rs. 1730 /- per person.
- Rate of Ticket for Katra – Sanji Chhatt – Katra is Rs. 3460/- per person.
- 5 – 6 passengers can be accommodated in one flight.
- The Helicopters shall operate subject to fair weather conditions, clear visibility of the range prescribed by DGCA, and clearance by the ATC.
- Full fare refund shall be made only in case of cancellation of helicopter operations due to bad weather reports or technical reasons.
