Archaeological Museum History:
Archaeological Museum situated in Thrissur of Kerala is laced in the Thrissur Zoo compound. The Thrissur museum was built in the year 1938. The museum was started as the picture gallery named as Mulam Chithrasala to which the archaeological gallery was attached later. The museum has stored the ancient memories in the form of monuments to spread the ancient knowledge among the future generation. Each exhibit of the museum has its own story, the ancient information of the Indus valley and Harappa civilization, and various artefacts of Thrissur, Palakkad and Wayanad districts.
