Edakkal Caves situated in Wayanad of Kerala is famous for its wall carvings. These caves lie above 1200 meters high above the Sea level. These carvings belong to the Neolithic era and late stone age. These exotic caves were discovered in the year 1890 by Fred Fawcett.
